The Suites 500 & 700 Pavilions at Tabacón Resort are nestled in the tropical rainforest with views of the Arenal Volcano and the jungle. This project focused on renovation and remodeling with the goal of enhancing the guest experience. The updates included bathroom renovations, new finishes, fixtures, furniture, lighting, art, and equipment. Additionally, the redesign aimed to immerse guests in nature by offering more amenities, better utilization of views, and complete privacy.
For the Suites 500, the existing façade’s windows were set back, and a terrace was added, creating a private, covered outdoor space. On the first level, the redesign includes a terrace with its own thermal water pool. On the second level, an anatomical, freestanding bathtub made of cast iron was installed, also fed by thermal waters. These additions bridge the gap between indoor and outdoor spaces, offering a seamless transition and fostering relaxation.
In the Suites 700, the space between the bathroom and bedroom was opened, allowing more natural light to fill the interior. A freestanding bathtub, also supplied with thermal water, was added, and the terrace was outfitted with furniture designed to let guests fully enjoy the natural surroundings.
