On a lot in the Merced district of downtown San José, the Lofts Concordia are located—two-bedroom apartments with double-height spaces and an industrial feel. The architectural concept centers around a courtyard where the apartments are aligned. This courtyard serves as a common recreational area and aids in natural lighting and cross-ventilation.
On the façade facing the avenue, accordion-style panels on the balconies provide flexibility in managing light, acoustics, and privacy. At street level, the building includes parking and two commercial spaces to connect with the city and contribute to the urban fabric and its community.
