On a natural terrace within the tropical humid forest life zone, sits this 2,690 square feet Club House, a communal space for: recreation, swimming, yoga and the enjoyment of being in contact with nature. Three wood structured double pitched roofs – corresponding with program spaces for: kitchen, lounge and restrooms – rest over a light construction fiber-cement paneled floor on stilts. Restrooms are connected by a bridge. The not so prominent walls, most of which are also composed of fiber-cement panels, are veneered in lava stone in order to be discrete among the landscape. An infinity lap pool aligns to the change in slope to maximize the views.
